It’s no secret that certain parts of the static caravan industry have come under fire recently, due to reported past mis-selling and poor customer experience in some areas. As part of the caravan sales and Holiday Park Industry, we have to acknowledge this has been, and still is, a concern for people looking to buy a holiday home on a Holiday Park.
The Holiday Park industry is a large one with many components from the larger corporate names to the many smaller family-run sites. As a family run business, we have a small, dedicated team who care and are personally invested in our owners, holidaying customers, staff and the local area and businesses we support. We know our guests by name, and we genuinely love to see and help our owners and holiday guests have the best family and holiday experiences they can. Having lived and worked in the local areas we support, you can make use of our local knowledge from the nearest, qualified plumbers to the recommended fish and chip shops in the area. Our long standing and dedicated staff at Pioneer Holiday Park Heacham and at Wyndham Cromer are on Park and available to show you round. Come and have a cup of tea with us, walk round the Park and chat to our owners and guests, some of whom have been here with us for many years. We take our responsibility to our customers personally and seriously.
In addition to our owners and customers, we know the importance Holiday Parks play in local communities, both economically, supporting local businesses and as a local employer. We like to think we are doing our bit in helping to maintain the vitality of coastal communities. Whilst this is not something that has been shouted about in the past, we fully support the British Holiday and Home Parks Association (BH&HPA) current Parks Make Places campaign which highlights how many Holiday and Residential Parks are having ‘a positive impact on the people and places they serve, investing in communities, supporting local businesses and charities and promoting economic growth through private investment, secondary spending and job creation’. When the Holiday Parks are open, the whole area is full of life and thriving.
So what does this mean to anyone considering purchasing a holiday home in Heacham or a holiday home in Cromer on a family run Park such as our own? We are personally invested in everything we do and while we cannot claim to be perfect, no one is, we never take our customers trust for granted.
If you are considering purchasing a Holiday Home on the beautiful Norfolk coastline why not give us a call and see what we have to offer. You may find it useful to have a read through our ‘Guide to Buying & Owning a Static Caravan’.
